「經過數個月在 Evergreen 的培訓，我們都獲得了自信，也在現實中找到了自我。我們身為社工的新任務，是照顧人們的生理以及心理上的健康。我想對奉獻心力的 Phyllis McCleod 老師表達謝意，幫助我們準備未來的新挑戰… 去服務在這多元化的社會裡，需要我們幫助的人們。」
“For all of us who are about to graduate, tonight is a very special moment … this is what we’ve been waiting for. Through these months of training at Evergreen College, we have gained confidence in ourselves as well as building character and spirit in our visualization and realization, our new mission as social workers. Our main concern is to support the well being of all people’s physical, mental and spiritual health. I would like to express a special thank you to our dedicated teacher, Phyllis McCleod for helping us to prepare for our new challenge … to serve morally and ethically to those in this multicultural society who need us”.

「我在 Evergreen 學習了9個月，在這段期間我學到了很多東西，包括我最喜歡的主題，像是幼兒營養學以及幼兒發展。我喜歡早期幼兒照護助理課程，是因為這課程提供我一個機會，透過不同的情況去增加工作上的知識。在我開始這課程以前，我在一些家庭機構擔任代班。現在我有自信去管理白天照護的案子，以及用我的知識去更有效推進在任何組織內有關孩童的企劃案。Evergreen 給了我機會去實現自己的夢想，在這裡我要感謝所有曾經給予我鼓勵、支持的偉大老師們，謝謝你們。」
“I have been studying at Evergreen College for almost 9 months. During this time we learned many things, including some of my favorite topics such as child nutrition and child development. I liked the ECA program because it provided me with an opportunity to increase my working knowledge with children in diverse settings. Before I started the program, I worked in several family resource programs as a relief worker. Now I am confident that I can manage daycare programs and use my knowledge to move forward more effectively in any organization that conducts programs for children. Evergreen College has given me the opportunity to fulfill my dream. To all my great teachers who have encouraged me in your classes with support and kind words, I thank you.”
