As the first WHAT’s WHAT existed of information of what people should know when they are going to study abroad. We have created a list of questions you have to ask yourself before you are going to choose a job for working abroad.

Living in an amazing country but also improving your resume is an ideal situation for most people. While making little money, you are able to extend your travels in ways that will forever change your life. However, finding a job abroad is not very difficult, but the job should be pleasurable during your stay there. Therefore maybe the following questions will help you decide what kind of job suits you.

What are the working conditions?

Even you do not really care about it yet, you should be concerned about it. Be sure that where you go, you are getting threaten fairly and know what the rules of your contract are before you are signing any contract. Look into the working rules of the country, minimum wages requirements and employee laws.

How much will you be paid?

A lot of times people accept simple and underpaid jobs because they want to make their dream of living abroad real. Please be careful people! We do not advice you to just take a job because it is a job. Look what you want to achieve and where are you going to live. Your wages should provide you at least some security of living expenses paid. Make a contact and now when and how you are going to get the money.

NOTE: sometimes you are promised a certain amount of salary, but you should always read the country’s taxes. There will be taken off money from your promised salary.

Accommodations?

It is always difficult to find a reasonable living space in big cities. Most people want to travel to big cities and work there, but come to realize that finding a house is not as easy as it looks. We advice you to know beforehand to figure out where you want to go and research the best solution for living area, living expenses and living rules.

What are the Visa conditions?

PLEASE READ all the requirements of your visa when you’re applying for one. You should find answers on these questions:

Can I travel a little bit more if I have finished my work?

Can I change employees?

How long is the visa valid?

What kind of work can I do?

Do I need to have a confirmed job?

What kind of visa do I need?

Should I use Employment Agencies?

You can make use of employment agencies. They will help you in return for a fee of course. Just make sure that you are aware for what kind of services you are paying for. Do not just take the first company you see. Do your research and figure out which company will help you realize your dream.

Do I need to have skills or experience?

Seasonable employers provide often on the job training and do not expect much experience, but if you have gained any experiences of skills in the past. Those qualities can help you get a higher paid job more easily.

Should I have our agreement in writing?

YES YES YES. Please do so to secure yourself. Even if you are familiar with each other, you should always ask them to create a contract. You never know when you maybe need it.
